Canon EOS R50 V body + RF 24mm F/1.4L VCM

This bundle consists of the Canon EOS R50 V body and the Canon RF 24mm F/1.4L VCM Pro lens from the L series. The Canon EOS R50 V is a compact video camera. The camera is specifically geared towards video.

Canon EOS R50 V body

The Canon EOS R50 V is a compact video camera with interchangeable lens. This camera is specifically geared towards video and features the familiar RF mount, giving you a huge choice of available lenses for your video productions.

Shoot 4K video for up to 2 hours. These recordings are oversampled from 6K. This means filming takes place in 6K and is then downscaled to a resolution of 4K at 30 frames per second. The advantage of this is that you benefit from better image quality with more detail. Of course, you can also record slow motion in 4K 60p or Full HD 120p.

This camera includes technical settings that make your video productions even better. There's Canon Log 3 for better colour correction, aspect markers to frame your shots, and time code to synchronise your recordings. To monitor exposure and sharpness of the images while filming, there are tools such as false colour, zebra displays and focus peaking.

For the flexible content creator, it's important that the camera is easy to use. The R50 V has been designed with this in mind. The camera features a comfortable grip that sits nicely in the hand. Because of its focus on video, the camera has a "video first mode" dial. Although everything centres around video, a button has been reserved for photo enthusiasts to take photos. There's a record button on the front, so you can start filming quickly. The camera also includes a vertical tripod socket for vertical recordings. Thanks to the microphone and headphone connections, you're assured of excellent audio recordings. The camera features a 24.2 MP APS-C cropped sensor, and thanks to Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, subjects are easily detected.

Of course, camera operation has also been considered. There's a power zoom lever control, letting you easily zoom in and out without having to turn the lens manually. This is naturally ideal for videographers who want to make a smooth, controlled zoom movement without producing too much noise or motion.

The R50 V has a vari-angle touchscreen, making it easy to see what you're filming. This provides extra flexibility, as it also lets you monitor from trickier angles. You can easily adjust settings via the screen. This is perfect for vloggers and video creators.

In the world of online creation, sharing is of course essential. The R50 V is therefore equipped with WiFi, a USB port, UVC & UAC connectivity so your computer recognises it as a webcam, UVC up to 4K 60p, livestreaming and HDMI streaming.

Canon RF 24mm F/1.4L VCM

The Canon RF 24mm F/1.4L VCM is an addition to the Pro lenses in the L series. Ideal for photographers and videographers looking for a lens that creates beautiful round highlights and a cinematic look, while also performing well in low light.

The Canon RF 24mm F/1.4L VCM features an 8-stop Optical Image Stabilizer. This lets you create sharp results in low light and smooth handheld video footage. It also makes it possible to work with longer shutter speeds. With the 24mm focal length, you get a beautiful full-frame image. The f/1.4 aperture with 11 blades produces beautiful light effects, especially in low light. Thanks to minimal focus breathing and the iris ring, you can smoothly adjust the lens manually, resulting in fluid video footage. This lens also performs excellently in low light: the aperture offers a bright image and full control over depth of field. For more creative options, there's a gel filter holder at the rear and a 67mm filter size.

Your shots are always razor-sharp thanks to aspherical and UD lens elements with Super Spectra, SWC and ASC coatings. You can also focus quickly and accurately on your subject thanks to the Nano USM and the fast Voice Coil Motor (VCM). The lens is reliable and easy to operate. The RF 24mm has a robust, dust- and water-resistant housing and high-quality glass elements. The fluorine coating on the front element prevents dirt from sticking. With the dedicated Lens Control Ring and a customisable function button, you can set up the lens controls exactly to your preference.
