The EW-D SK features a lockable 3.5mm connector for a compatible lavalier or headset microphone of your choice, or an adapter cable for guitar and bass. With a remarkable dynamic range of 134 dB at the input, it can handle a wide range of sound sources, including loud vocals and performances, connections to musical instruments, and even line-level signals from mixing desks, without any gain adjustment required.

The device features a mute button that can be locked and disabled during a performance via the receiver or a mobile device. With a single press of the button, it quickly connects to the receiver via Bluetooth over a range of up to 36 metres. In addition, the EW-D SK uses an equidistant tuning grid that distributes 2,240 frequencies evenly across the wide bandwidth of 56 MHz. This prevents disruptive intermodulation issues that can occur when multiple transmitters operate in a confined space.

The EW-D SK is configured and operated remotely via Bluetooth, both from the receiver and via the Smart Assist app on your iOS/Android phone/tablet — within a range of 36 metres.

The transmitter offers up to 8 hours of use on two AA batteries or 12 hours with a BA 70 rechargeable lithium-ion battery (sold separately). The BA 70 batteries require the L70 USB charging station (sold separately).
