Kite Optics KSP 80 HD (without eyepiece)

Do you want to put together your own spotting scope setup, with the freedom to choose the perfect eyepiece? The Kite Optics KSP 80 HD scope body is the base of this excellent 80mm spotting scope. It offers the same optical performance as the complete set, but without a fixed eyepiece.

The 80mm HD objective delivers rich contrast, vivid colours and razor-sharp images from sunrise to sunset. The advanced MHR Advance+ coatings optimise light transmission, resulting in exceptional brightness and resolution, even in challenging lighting conditions. Thanks to the modular design, the KSP 80 HD shares the same interchangeable eyepiece system as the Kite APC 60 ED; if you already have an eyepiece for either scope, you use it directly on the other one, without extra costs for a second eyepiece. The scope is fully waterproof, filled with nitrogen gas to prevent fogging. It's also fully rubber-armoured for durability and a firm grip.

Thanks to the tripod foot, you clip the scope, as one of the few models, directly onto a Manfrotto 128RC tripod head, without needing the corresponding quick-release plate. A practical advantage compared to many other scopes. With a 30-year warranty, this is a durable, reliable base for years of use in the field.

Please note: you need a separately available eyepiece for use, such as the 25-50x wide-angle zoom eyepiece.
