Cokin

Who is Cokin?

The filter brand Cokin was founded in 1978 by the famous French fashion and landscape photographer Jean Coquin. The Cokin filter system is a drop-in filter system that uses square and rectangular filters which slide into a filter holder. The holder easily attaches to any threaded lens using an adapter ring of the correct size. Cokin filters, almost all made from C39 material, are known for their high quality and optical clarity. The filters are also lightweight and very strong.
